15 February 2006 - Towards a Better Rushmoor
The second Rushmoor Strategic Partnership conference, ‘Towards a Better Rushmoor’ was held at, and partly sponsored by, Farnborough Sixth Form College.
The programme included a presentation from the Chief Executive of Rushmoor Borough Council, Andrew Lloyd, entitled ‘RSP – From Strategy to Action’ which showcased some of the Partnership’s current and completed projects and future plans for the Borough.
Alison Bond, Director of ABA Research, reported on findings from the Partnership’s recently commissioned research to find and measure things that really count to Rushmoor residents. These findings and other community consultations formed the basis of several workshops where delegates identified a number of actions to achieve positive results. The Partnership now plans to prioritise and progress these actions.
