What is the Rushmoor Strategic Partnership?
Rushmoor's Strategic Partnership has been set up to tackle key issues for local people in order to secure improvements to quality of life in the Borough.
To be able to make a difference in areas like education and training, community safety, inequalities and healthy lifestyles, we need to involve a wide range of local organisations working together.
Partnership working in Rushmoor is not new but the Rushmoor Strategic Partnership has brought together key organisations and people from the public, private, voluntary and community sectors to develop a 'Community Strategy' for the Borough and to deliver some important projects.
Rushmoor's Community Strategy contains a vision for the future and wellbeing of the Borough and what we plan to do to make it a place where people want to live, work and visit. The Strategy is supported by other documents which include what action we plan to take; how we will measure people's quality of life and, in due course, the Rushmoor Plan that sets out how the Borough will be developed over the next 12 years.
The role and profile of the Rushmoor Strategic Partnership is likely to grow over the next few months and years. Realising our vision will not be an easy task and it will call upon considerable support from many in the local community. However, we feel that we have made a positive start, from which we can progress.
